Functional polymeric dispersion liquid crystal (PDLC) films can be used as electrical conversion windows in smart spaces that replace curtains, blinds, and partitions in buildings and offices. The opaque state of the power OFF acts as a privacy protection, and the transparent state of the power ON exhibits the effect of a sense of freedom by securing a spatial field of view. It also has the advantage of safety as it has the effect of preventing the scattering of glass and the anti-crime measures. The attached PDLC film can be constructed simply by utilizing the existing glass surface.
